Located just outside Barcelona, ​​Segura Viudas represents the absolute pinnacle of cava producers. Segura Viudas combines a century-old winemaking tradition with a strong commitment to quality and sustainability. The estate dates back to the 11th century, when plants, vegetables and fruit were grown there to meet the needs of the local monastery. Sparkling wines were first produced on the estate in 1959, and immediately stood out for their quality. The estate is known for producing elegant and distinctive cavas.

The wines reflect the unique terroir of the region and respect traditional production methods.
Segura Viudas represents the absolute pinnacle of cava producers. Located in the heartland of cava in the village of Torrelaviti, the estate dates back to the 11th century, when plants, vegetables and fruit were grown there to meet the needs of the local monastery. Sparkling wines were first produced on the estate in 1959, and immediately stood out for their quality. Segura Viudas is known for its carefully crafted cavas, produced using the traditional method.

Segura Viudas can be counted among the houses that have turned the eyes of the wine world to Pénedes. According to the estate's head winemaker Gabriel Suberviola, "wine is made in the vineyard". All Segura Viudas wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in the estate's own vineyards, hand-picked and treated with the utmost care. Only the best grapes are used to produce cava with this level of character and diversity.
