Art Nouveau -mestari Emile Gallén vuonna 1902 luoma Belle Epoque -pullo on Champagnen tunnistettavimpia. Eikä se ole kaunis vain ulkoisesti, vaan myös sisus on varsinainen taideteos. Talon Chardonnay -vetoista tyyliä upeasti kantava luksussamppanja on ollut tuotannosta vuosikerrasta 1964 asti. Tässä master classissa talon kellarimestari Séverine Frerson johdattaa meidät Belle Epoquen uniikin tyylin saloihin. Pääsemme maistamaan klassisen sekoitesamppanjan lisäksi myös himoitun Rosé -versioita tästä viinimaailman kukkealla charmillaan hurmanneesta samppanjasta.

Syntyjään champagnelainen Séverine Frerson on tehnyt pitkän uran kuuluisissa samppanjataloissa. Lokakuussa 2020 hänestä tuli perinteikkään Perrier-Jouët’n vasta kahdeksas ja kautta aikojen ensimmäinen naispuolinen kellarimestari. Hän luotsaa taloa nyt uudelle aikakaudelle vahvana visionaan kestävä kehitys ja talon kunnianhimoisten ympäristötavoitteiden saavuttaminen.

The striking Belle Epoque bottle, created by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902, belongs to Champagne’s most emblematic. And the bottle’s beauty is not limited to its looks, inside too it is a veritable piece of art. The wine has carried the house’s Chardonnay driven style in the most elegant of ways ever since its first vintage 1964. In this master class cellar master Séverine Frerson guides us to the roots of Belle Epoque's unique style. In addition to the classic blend in several vintages, we also get to taste the coveted Rosé edition of this one-of-a-kind champagne that has charmed the wine world with its floral elegance.

Born and raised in Champagne, Séverine Frerson has made a long career in prestigious Champagne Houses. In October 2020 she became the eighth and first-ever female cellar master of the prestigious house of Perrier-Jouët. She is now leading the house to a new era with a strong vision of sustainability with ambitious environmental goals.
