Among the finest prestige cuvées of Champagne, Taittinger’s 1952-born Comtes de Champagne was a pioneering blanc de blancs prestige cuvée. In its toasty charm, it is still one the most elegant representatives of this category. Its immediate appeal and silky smoothness upon release are some of the many assets of Comtes.

In his Master Class chief executive officer Clovis Taittinger shares the colourful history of this family owned champagne house, the third oldest in Champagne. He sheds light to the family’s vision in guiding the old yet modern house and defines its style in the making. We will get to savour several iterations of Comtes de Champagne. In addition to the coveted top vintage 2008, Clovis will show us Comtes de Champagne from the scarcely-declared 2011, the monumental 2012 and the elegant 2013 harvest years.

Clovis Taittinger is the eldest child of Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger. Clovis grew up in Reims and studied history in Sorbonne and economics at EDHEC in Lille. He joined the family business in September 2007. Clovis represents the family particularly internationally and is also responsible for the purchase of the estate's grapes and contacts with the growers. Clovis Taittinger was appointed CEO of the house at the beginning of 2020.
